'Absolutely jaw-dropping': U.S. Ambassador says Trump offered to sell arms to China

President Trump offered to sell U.S. weapons to Chinese leader Xi Jinping, according to U.S. Ambassador to China David Perdue. In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, Perdue framed the president’s offer to Xi as a way to justify the pending U.S. arms sale to Taiwan, which Beijing opposes, downplaying it as one of many sales the United States makes globally.
